You can finally watch the full version of FATHER on French/German TV channel Arte: both TV broadcast and online!
Check out more about the screenings in French or German. For those like myself who don’t speak any of the two, the main thing is the screenings will be today, 13 September at 01:25 and Sunday, 15 September at 05:05. The original language of the Film is English so no worries about understanding. FATHER will be screened as part of Short – The Magazine (“KurzSchluss – Das Magazin”) selection.
Another piece of news from Germany is that the German Film and Media Evaluation Agency (FBW) has given FATHER a Prädikat „Besonders Wertvoll” or as Google Translate tells me an “Extremely Valuable” title, which is the highest artistic quality level in Germany.
